No False Promises
This product does not guarantee learning the guitar in minutes, hours or days. This product requires practice (work!) and will take weeks to months to complete the two courses. Very few musicians are as gifted as Mozart or the Beatles. Would you expect to learn to play golf or Spanish or type 80 words per minute in a couple of weeks? NO! You need good instruction and ongoing practice.

Simple Teaching
You do not need to learn scales, minor 7th chords, the barre chord, the Myxolodian scale anytime soon. You will learn to play the guitar like you hear on your favorite top 40 easy listening / rock /country station. This means simple strumming, simple rhythms and fingerpicking. This means enjoying yourself and not being overwhelmed.

The target group for this product is the beginning guitarist or a teacher who would like to teach a group of six beginning guitarist to play with this DVD.

DVD Content
We use different camera views that make it very easy for you to follow the instructor’s hands. Many videos show the guitar teacher sitting across from you. I’ve tried learning this way and it’s hard to reverse the views in your brain. I use camera views which appear right in front of where your hands are. Check it out.

You will learn from a book and the DVD. Everyone learns in different ways, some by reading, some by observing, some by listening, some by seeing examples.

Price
That’s a big concern. No large upfront sums for a huge amount of information or products that you may not want or need or be overwhelmed by. Guitar I is $25 plus postage, Guitar II is $20 plus postage.
